The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will generate qualified leads by prospecting for business opportunities. The SDR will also be responsible for cultivating and nurturing prospects to move them from unidentified leads to sales qualified leads with an appointment to talk with account and product teams. The SDR utilizes outbound phone calls, email, video and social media to reach decision makers within predefined targets to build rapport and establish long-term relationships; develops ongoing relationships with contacts by providing value to the contact in every interaction, demonstrates a high level of product competency and oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound phone calls to customers and prospects to set appointments
  • Create fun email & video campaigns to create hand raising opportunities
  • Use your social media strengths to connect and further score potential leads
  • Work with the executive team on effectiveness of constructive campaigns to bring in leads
  • Share your personal insight and feedback to the team on effectiveness of software tools and products

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years outbound prospecting experience at a successful technology company with an entrepreneurial sales culture and strong execution, successfully generating new business
  • Technical aptitude for learning products, solving problems and relating to people
  • An ability to tell a story with enthusiasm, communicate and influence others over phone, email, video
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—with a real knack for working with and understanding people
  • Strong time management/organization skills
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and drive towards operating in uncertainty, getting things done with limited resources, and going deep quickly in a variety of categories
  • Goal oriented, Driven to succeed, Collaborative, Team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with networking, specifically enterprise wireless LAN technologies, is a plus
  • Prior experience with closing deals and/or ability to close deals optional
  • Deep understanding of sales automation tools, pipeline analytics etc.
  • Prefer candidates that completed 4-year degree (BA, BS)
