We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of driving growth and success for our clients.
As the DR Manager at Poka, you will lead and manage a team of Development Representatives and play a critical part in the success of our business. The DR Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to create pipeline from demand generation initiatives (inbound) & targeted outreach (outbound). Poka has a mature demand generation function supported by the right tools to ensure you and your team exceed your goals - from intent data, and lead scoring to outreach orchestration and ABM. This role combines leadership, coaching, and hands-on involvement in driving the sales development function to create qualified opportunities for our sales team.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Enhance the pipeline through consistent updates and strategic prioritization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Establish targets for lead generation and qualified meetings, collaborating closely with the team to ensure achievement.
- Nurture the team's proficiency in prospecting, lead qualification, and product and sector knowledge through training and development.
- Inspire the team by fostering a results-driven environment and offering creative incentives.
- Streamline processes by identifying opportunities for enhancement to boost the Sales Development function's productivity and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the demand generation team to reinforce their grasp of relevant campaigns and target profiles.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the SDR team's performance and make data-informed decisions.
- Participate actively in the recruitment process for new SDR team members, ensuring their smooth integration and comprehensive training.
- Engage in industry events and networking opportunities to represent Poka and cultivate new business connections.
What you bring to the table:
- Previous experience in a B2B SDR/BDR or Sales Management role, including team leadership.
- Proven experience in prospecting enterprise-sized prospects and engaging with decision-makers.
- A track record of success in achieving measurable goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Outreach, Sales Navigator, Try Prospect, Salesforce, Gong, and other software essential for the role.
