We believe the world is better when everyone has the ability to navigate it. As a team of 18 scattered across 6 countries, the thread that holds us together is our collective eagerness to learn from and teach each other with the wonderful values from our different walks of life. We need someone that can teach us and our customers, and are equally as eager to learn from others on the team as part of a quality-driven organization.
What you'll find yourself doing
👾 Writing code for integrations and plugins that is reliable, robust, and reusable.
📐 Help guide our overall technical decisions and architect solutions.
⭐️ Build out services that will work across a wide gamut of tools.
🧠 Work with the team to brainstorm, iron out, and implement new solutions.

🐛 Assist in triaging bugs and usability issues to fix issues in production.
🔍 Review code and get your code reviewed by others on the team.
🛠 Assist in scaling up a world-class accessibility product with a passionate team.
Qualifications

Preferred candidates are product-minded, have experience with accessibility and/or compliance, and are excited about this space. So if you don't think you qualify based on 100% of what's below? Don't sweat it. Reach out anyway, please!
Your technical skills
You have the coding fundamentals down, and a track record of high quality engineering.
Highly fluent in the web-based tech used to build out integrations and plug-ins (React, Typescript, CSS, HTML, etc.).
Experience developing highly performant code, testing, documenting, and the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks.
Understanding of the Git workflow, including pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD systems, and are able to write front-end/back-end integration tests.
Some experience with back-end technologies (NodeJS, Express, etc.).
You've built and shipped integrations and plug-ins that are responsive, accessible and performant.
Bonus Points: You’re a maker, and have jammed on side-projects.
Bonus Points: Use of emoji and solid humor. 🐻 (It’s a beary fun place to work)
Your core skills
Ability to communicate clearly and collaboratively in the method most comfortable and possible for you.
You care about the impact your work has on the customer’s experience.
Heavy knowledge of the fundamentals of your craft and take a first principles approach.
You’re coachable. Even with everything you know, you’re aware there’s always room for growth within your craft.
You dig into problem-solving skills (can’t leave something alone until it’s fixed).
You hit the ground running, get to answers quickly, and get excited about getting the product in user’s hands.
Get as much enjoyment out of working on short- and mid-term projects as you do long-term planning and exploring.
An active learner's mentality. You’re comfy asking for help and know when it’s time to do so.
Can embrace the ambiguity of new projects; you get jazzed thinking about how to build on a new platform or freshly announced feature.
Ability to self-manage when it comes to time, organization, responsibilities, etc.
