What you’ll do:
Develop and engineer large-scale software applications and cloud-based systems that acquire, process, store, and illuminate terabytes of YouTube, Facebook and other social media video data.
Code software to analyze this data in order to manage and monetize the intellectual property contained in online videos.
Rapidly scale the software infrastructure for ZEFR’s VideoID technology for enterprise media companies and content owners.
Develop and maintain distributed systems, cloud infrastructures and applications, microservices architecture, and web APIs for ZEFR’s software applications.
Develop scalable software solutions to amass the information needed for planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Build software applications on Kubernetes and Kafka data processors using core technologies (Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS, GCP).
Build, operate, and maintain production machine learning infrastructure for software applications.
Design and validate test cases for safe code fixes, participating in the design, development, and maintenance of metrics and reports needed to drive key business metrics.
Utilize data processing platforms to implement changes to applications and systems implementations, including design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of solutions.
What we’re looking for:
Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus:
Two (2) years of Software Development, Programming Analysis, or related experience designing, developing, and modifying application software; building and deploying web applications; designing data migration and writing SQL scripts; developing data warehouses and utilizing data for reporting, data analysis, and BI; gathering and analyzing user requirements; performance tuning of slow running SQL queries, views, and stored procedure; creating applications to identify errors and missing data elements; creating dashboards for report submissions; and utilizing ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Ajax, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, JavaScript, JQuery, MVC/MVP Pattern, Enterprise Library, SQL Servers, T-SQL, and SSIS/SSRS.

Compensation (for US based employees):
The anticipated base salary for this position is between $187,000 and $207,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If your compensation expectations fall outside of this range, it may still be worth having a conversation.
