The Opportunity: Your Role
Software is at an inflection point. Businesses have spent decades patching together workflows, hacking inefficiencies with spreadsheets, RPA, and AI agents. But those tools weren’t designed for the future—they were built to survive the past.
At bem, we’re changing the game. We’re building ambient business systems—software that doesn’t just automate tasks but transforms operations entirely. Our AI-powered platform eliminates the manual, fragmented back-office processes that slow businesses down.
We’re not just another automation tool. We’re building the foundational infrastructure for the next 100 years of business software. Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups already rely on bem to replace broken, manual workflows with intelligent, reusable components.
That’s where you come in.
As our second marketing + growth hire, you’ll be responsible for working alongside our Head of Growth, founders, and other teams within the business to help us do what matters most- grow our pipeline as a business. We’re looking for someone who has a few years of experience understanding the AI or developer tools space to jump in headfirst to help us scale with different channels. This position is based 3 days a week in our San Francisco office and has tremendous potential for impact and growth. Help us grow our brand awareness and next set of Fortune 100 customers!
Responsibilities:
Demand Gen: Build email sequences and marketing automation to drive our brand messaging. You’ll get your hands dirty with Hubspot campaigns, tracking, and attribution support.
Outbound: Test outbound strategy campaigns across different verticals, ICP targets, and messaging. Help to deploy light ABM tests.
Content + socials: You’ll help to launch our always on content via socials, and can step in to help with content creation and production.
ICP expert: Test new acquisition channels and measure effectiveness. We have to take data-driven bets to scale to the level we’re planning to.
Events: Support our Head of Growth with events + conferences. We’ve hosted panels, dinners, and just made a big splash at a conference. We have lots more coming.
Partner marketing: Develop co-marketing with integration partners and other developer + AI platforms that we admire. We host a podcast and are always interested in building more deep relationships with other companies within the space.

Your first 2 months:
Month 1: Hold a high responsibility over our outbound strategy + be in the weeds with multiple channels and our events. Bonus points? You’ve jumped in to help us align with more partners too. And will have tested new markets for us to explore and have data (and pipeline) to back up why we should continue down those pathways.
Month 2: You've already driven a 25% increase in qualified pipeline (ideally, you did this within month one)
Your background
2+ years of growth, marketing, or biz dev experience
Experience with dev tools, B2B SaaS, or technical products
Strong analytical skills and comfort with data
Excellent written communication
CS degree or technical background (bootcamp, self-taught OK)
Startup mentality—willing to dive into high-impact areas
Excited about AI and data transformation trends
