ClassDojo's goal is to give every child on Earth an education they love.

We started by building a powerful network for communication. ClassDojo’s flagship app is the #1 communication app connecting K-8 teachers, children, and families globally. Teachers use it to share what’s happening throughout the day through photos, videos, and messages that make parents feel like they’re there. It’s actively used in over 95% of US schools, reaching over 50 million children in 180 countries, with a team of just around 200 people [1]. We are now beginning to use this network to give kids the best learning experiences in the world, far beyond those a standard school can provide.

We hire for talent density. Our team comprises the most talented, entrepreneurial, and innovative teammates from around the world, with experience in education and large scale consumer internet companies, including Instagram, Netflix, Dropbox, Stripe, Uber, Y Combinator, and more. We’re building a company where the most talented people want to work. We believe you’ll do the best work of your life here—and you’ll pioneer the future of education, too.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a strategic, driven and scrappy leader to own our districts’ success and implementation holistically. Your mission is to turn each district partner into a ClassDojo champion by building strong relationships and ensuring each one of their schools successfully implements ClassDojo. This includes:

  • Crafting Customer Experiences: Design and implement tailored onboarding, engagement and retention strategies that meet the specific needs of district partners, ensuring their strategic goals are met.
  • Building Relationships: Develop deep, trust-based relationships with district partners, making them feel valued and heard.
  • Driving Adoption: Lead efforts to increase teacher and school adoption within districts, translating partnerships into tangible business results.
  • Ensuring Satisfaction: Oversee the onboarding process and provide ongoing support, making district partners feel this is one of the best decisions for their district.
  • Creating Advocates: Turn satisfied district partners into enthusiastic advocates who will refer ClassDojo to other districts.

You will be a match if:

  • You have 8+ years experience working in customer success, ideally for a consumption/usage-based business model.
  • You have built and led customer success and implementation teams from scratch for high-growth tech companies, ideally in the K-12 education space.
  • You have a proven track record of building positive, impactful relationships with district and school leaders.
  • You have experience crafting and implementing onboarding, engagement and retention programs for districts and schools.
  • You are passionate about crafting delightful user experiences and setting up efficient, scalable processes to implement them.
  • You’re extremely results-oriented; you can define and measure outcomes quantitatively.
  • You’re a strategic thinker that can see the big picture and communicate a compelling vision.
  • You’re able to roll up your sleeves and get things done to execute on the vision.
  • You have a customer-centric mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • You are skilled in data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • You are a clear communicator and excellent at internal and external relationship-building.
  • You collaborate well cross-functionally with sales, marketing and product.

You might be a good fit if:

  • You have deep product knowledge about ed-tech solutions that districts and schools love.
  • You have up-to-date relationships with district leaders.
