Role

Design owns how Anything feels. You'll invent the future of how people build software (and work directly with 2 product obsessed co-founders). Your work will make the Internet go "woah".

Example projects you'd own

• Pioneer new interaction patterns at the frontier that become "best practice" in AI

• Design how to interact with agent reasoning timeline, visual diffs, app previews

• Make technical concepts (logs, arbitrary code logic, databases) intuitive for non technical builders

• Design a simple, delightful, and understandable experience for swarms of autonomous software engineers building 100s of app variations w/ intelligent merging

• Train a design reasoning model to generate unique, frontier designs

• Align our product design, visual identity, and brand across all surfaces

• Shape our design culture

Ideal background

• Strong design experience (typically 6+ years). You've spent the last few years shipping beautifully designed products to real users. Think of this as a senior / staff level role.

• At least one of:

  • Done impactful work at a company known for its design

  • Major contributions to a notable AI project

  • Seriously impressive portfolio

• Figma expert + visual, UX design mastery. Strong enough at code to use AI tools to turn designs into prototypes team can try and feel

• LLM psychic. Strong taste in AI models and AI design. You've worked on products with open ended inputs and outputs, and architect flexible systems.

• Deep AI curiosity and optimism

• Comfortable working across platforms and mediums. Anything instantiates on the web, iOS, Android. Deep understanding of the DOM, browser, and mobile run times

• Know when to be scrappy, and when to obsess on the details. You iterate fast early and bring the best ideas to high fidelity in interaction, typography, motion.

• Strong taste. You don't compromise shipping fast and quality.

• You talk to users and do research in hours, not weeks.

• Leader. Strong opinions, loosely held.

• Care that things ship and users love them

Extra signal

• Prior experience as a founder

• Strong production experience with LLMs

• You've designed 0 to 1 experiences, and evolved them through major leaps

• Deep desire to make work so good others steal it
