DualBird is building a next-generation data acceleration platform that brings hardware-level performance to cloud infrastructure with software-level simplicity. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure and help scale our systems.

The role

You’ll be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining our AWS-based infrastructure to support our development and production environments. You’ll work closely with software and hardware teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and speed across the company’s cloud operations.

What you’ll do

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure scalability, repeatability, and version control.

• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for integration, testing, and deployment.

• Monitoring and Reliability: Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.) to ensure high reliability and performance.

• Security and Compliance: Enforce AWS best practices for IAM, networking, and data security — including secrets management and least-privilege access.

• Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to improve developer experience and streamline cloud workflows.

• Automation and Tooling: Automate manual processes through scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) to improve deployment efficiency and consistency.

• Cost Optimization: Track and optimize AWS usage to ensure resource and cost efficiency.

What you bring

• 4–7 years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer in AWS environments.

• Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).

• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Familiarity with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash).

• Solid knowledge of cloud networking, IAM policies, and security best practices.

• Strong ownership mindset — proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
