DubClub was founded by a team of Stanford football and baseball alumni who launched the company’s first product in October 2021. Since then, DubClub has scaled rapidly to hundreds of thousands of users (DubClub "members"), with millions in revenue generated by cappers through the platform. DubClub is backed with Series A funding from a leading Silicon Valley tech VC firm and a leading sports-focused tech VC firm out of New York.

The role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in iOS development, with a proven track record of taking projects from concept to completion. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance. As a senior member of our team, you may mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure our product meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new iOS applications and features from inception to release.

  • Oversee the entire application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our apps remain cutting-edge.

  • Contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the platform.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of released applications.

  • Proficient in Swift and well-versed in the iOS SDK.

  • Experience with modern iOS frameworks and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and algorithms.

  • Familiarity with Python/Django or React/Swift is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area (or willing to relocate).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with backend development, particularly Python/Django.

  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or SwiftUI.

The problems you will solve

You will have overall ownership for our Capper (content creator) mobile application. You will work closely with product, design and other engineers to build out net new features, support the existing infrastructure and ensuring overall system health. You will have the ability to work in a highly dynamic, agile environment where the entire squad combs through data, identifies opportunities and works together to deliver the value quickly.
