About the role:

As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for building trust and relationships with a portfolio of existing customers. You'll be managing a sales pipeline as well as negotiating and closing contracts. You should be adept at navigating organizations to identify and manage relationships with the landscape of decision makers, detractors, and champions. Above all, you should be driven, a self-starter, and scrappy. This role will report to the Director of Account Management.

What you'll be doing:

  • Engage, organize, and close a portfolio of existing business to effectively hit quarterly revenue expansion targets
  • Provide detailed account plans along with accurate forecasting
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with clients at the highest levels of organizations (Director, VP, C-suite) through email, phone, onsite meetings
  • Provide consultative and strategic guidance for clients to help achieve their business growth goals
  • Educate clients on new product features to drive continued product adoption and increased client investment
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to prioritize accounts with upsell potential
  • Consistently surface client feedback to the Product team
  • Build strong relationships and effectively communicate success stories with the Sales team
  • Analyze internal data to understand customer usage and to ultimately improve customer engagement along with product adoption
  • Work with leaders across Fountain to ensure issues impacting customer value, expansion sales, and upcoming renewals are proactively addressed

What you should bring:

  • 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Proven successful track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Previous experience selling to business decision makers
  • Able to use CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Start-up experience preferred; entrepreneurial spirit a must
  • Great at speaking, writing and making presentations

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 plus commission. Base salary is dependent on location and experience
