We're looking for a dynamic Workplace Experience Manager who will be the heartbeat of our San Francisco office. This isn't just about managing facilities—it's about crafting an environment where our team thrives, culture flourishes, and every employee feels genuinely excited to come to work (or log on). You'll be equal parts operations maestro, culture champion, and employee engagement architect.
If you love creating memorable experiences, building community, and making workplaces feel less like offices and more like home bases for ambitious teams, this role is for you.
What will you be doing?
Own the end-to-end workplace experience for our SF office—from daily operations and vendor management to space optimization and amenities
Design and execute culture-building programs that bring our values to life: team events, rituals, celebrations, and surprise-and-delights that make Front feel special
Drive employee engagement initiatives including onboarding experiences, community building, ERG support, and wellness programs
Be the connective tissue between remote and in-office employees, ensuring hybrid work feels seamless and inclusive
Measure what matters—track engagement metrics, gather employee feedback, and iterate based on what's working (and what's not)
Partner cross-functionally with People Ops, IT, Finance, and leadership to align workplace strategy with business goals
Manage budgets and vendors efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and experience
Be the first responder for workplace needs—troubleshooting issues with grace and finding creative solutions on the fly
What skills and experience do you need?
3–5 years of experience in workplace experience, office management, employee engagement, or culture roles—ideally in a tech or high-growth startup environment
Proven track record of building and scaling culture programs, events, and engagement initiatives that employees actually care about
Operational excellence—you're organized, detail-oriented, and can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
People-first mindset—you genuinely care about employee experience and have a knack for making people feel seen and valued
Creative problem-solver who can work with constraints (budget, space, time) and still deliver exceptional experiences
Strong communication skills—you can rally people around ideas, influence stakeholders, and write compelling internal comms
Data-informed approach—comfortable using surveys, metrics, and feedback to measure engagement and iterate on programs
Hands-on and resourceful—willing to roll up your sleeves, whether that's setting up for an event or troubleshooting a facilities issue
Experience supporting hybrid work models and creating inclusive experiences for distributed teams
Front operates on a hybrid model — we come together in the office each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to collaborate and stay connected.
