Developer Growth Intern
Winter 2026 (January - April) Internship - full-time - hybrid
Mission: Our promise to customers, partners, and prompters is always and forever to make it real. This internship offers a chance to learn what it takes to grow a developer-first product, while working on fast, high-impact experiments designed to accelerate adoption and usage.
As a Developer Growth Intern, you’ll work with Groq’s Head of Growth on product-led experiments and support the expansion of the Groq for Startups program. Your day-to-day will involve helping launch and analyze experiments across social and web surfaces, contributing to developer-focused content, and supporting tactical execution of growth initiatives tied to product usage and founder success. You'll collaborate closely with DevRel and Engineering to ensure that what we're testing aligns with how builders actually build.
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s excited about AI, driven by experimentation, and ready to work at the intersection of product, marketing, and developer experience.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:
  • Support product-led growth experiments that drive developer awareness, usage, and retention
  • Contribute to tactical execution of marketing campaigns that support the Groq for Startups program
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance across social, web, and usage metrics
  • Help create developer-facing content that communicates product capabilities and value
  • Research competitive growth tactics and developer ecosystem trends
  • Collaborate with DevRel and Engineering to align experiments with developer needs and technical capabilities
Ideal candidates have/are:
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Interested in how developers discover and adopt new tools
  • Comfortable working with tools like Notion, Figma, Airtable, and basic analytics dashboards
  • Analytical mindset with a curiosity for experimentation and iteration
  • Passionate about AI, startups, and the builder community
  • Located in the San Francisco Bay Area or able to work from Mountain View HQ
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada

Compensation: The US pay range for our technical internships is $30-$50 / per hour. The US pay range for our non-technical internships is $30-$40 / per hour. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience, country of internship and aligned with Groq’s internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
