Social Media Intern
Mission: In 2025, companies meet their customers where they are, and for many developers, that’s on social.
In this role as a social media intern, you will not only craft messages that resonate with our 2M+ developer community, but you’ll work to rethink how we reach them entirely. What stories can we tell? What videos, demos, or data visualizations can we create? What memes can we seed?
This is a great opportunity for someone socially native to bring a fresh perspective to Groq, with leeway to experiment in finding authentic ways to connect with developers across channels ranging from Twitter/X to Reddit to Youtube, and beyond.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:
- Support the growth of Groq’s channels across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Youtube, Reddit, & more
- Create compelling copy that resonates with developers and stands out in a loud market
- Create or partner on developing dynamic (image, video, animated, data, memes…) assets
- Partner with internal teams to elevate developer and customer stories
- Engage AI thought leaders with the Groq brand in creative ways
- Proactively engage Groq’s growing community of 2m+ developers – both through owned channels and through social listening tools
Ideal candidates have/are:
- Socially native; ideally have grown their own or company accounts in the past
- Familiarity with popular editing tools. Bonus points for AI tools at the frontier!
- Passionate about AI, startups, and the builder community
- Creative, experimental mindset
- Preference for interns located in the San Francisco Bay Area or able to work from Palo Alto, CA
- Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada
