Who we are
Hallow is on a mission to help people pray. We’re the No. 1 prayer app in the world, with more than 1 billion prayers prayed across 150+ countries. We're building a product that is authentically Christian and Catholic, while at the same time a resource for anyone looking to grow deeper in a relationship with God. We believe that people are hungry for peace, and that there is no surer way to find it than by learning to sit in silence with Christ: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28).
Our goal is to build something truly great. Something that combines the beauty of the Church's spirituality with world-class product and content execution. And we need a world-class team to make it happen.
We launched the app in December 2018 and have been blown away with the incredible growth & traction. Hallow has been downloaded more than 30 million times with over 250,000 5-star reviews. We're blessed to be backed by some of the best mission-driven investors in the world and are excited to build out the team to help a lot more folks grow closer to God.
We are a startup. We move quickly. We are small but we take big swings. Each person is responsible for making an impact. It is hard—but deeply meaningful—work. We'd be honored & humbled if you'd consider joining us.
TL;DR: The Success Lead for our School Partnerships is the primary point of contact for our K-12 school partners. You’ll implement the Hallow Schools program in collaboration with school leaders, help their communities pray, and maintain partnerships for years to come by renewing and upselling partnerships.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and sustain relationships with partners: Your core focus will be driving partner activation, successful implementation of Hallow’s school program, and ongoing retention through deep relationship-building, measurable engagement, and continuous support.
  • Grow and expand partnerships: You will be expected to not only retain partners in your portfolio, but identify and close opportunities to expand Hallow’s presence through cross-sell/upsell, always rooted in true partner needs and value.
  • Analyze Partner Health and strategize effectively: Our goal is to help every member in our partner communities build a daily prayer habit and grow together in prayer as a community. You’ll make sure our partners are engaging with Hallow by using Partner Health Scores, dashboards, and concrete metrics to inform your work with each school. Comfort with analytical tools that inform your next steps is key.
  • Deliver world-class support: Our partners will look to you as the expert in the room on all things Hallow. This means putting on your customer service hat sometimes and responding to tech-support questions, knowing the content we offer back to front, building and growing our library of teacher and student resources, and more.
  • Learn with and from partners: External Zoom meetings and phone calls are your primary means of communication with partners, where you’ll be curious about their needs, ask for feedback, share opportunities for growth, and build relationships. This role also requires occasional in-person visits to partner schools, so comfort with travel is essential.

What You’ll Love

  • Mission: This work is incredibly humbling. Every day we get amazing stories and get the pleasure of working on something that impacts lives. One of my favorite user quotes: “I hate quoting an old, overused cliché, but I’ve been very lost. And I think for the first time in a while I may be found.”
  • Ownership: You’ll be owning Hallow's relationships with leaders in Catholic schools across the country. You'll own Hallow's relationships with school leaders across the country, directly shaping how students and educators engage with prayer.
  • Growth: From day 1, you’ll be a part of the startup journey. Over the next year, we’ll continue building out the team, and we’ll need your help in building a global network of community partners.
  • Flexibility: HQ is in Chicago (where we've been named a Best Place to Work by Built In) and we would love to have as many team members there as possible, but you will be responsible for building relationships across the country (though you’ll focus primarily in one geographic area), so we are flexible on location within the United States.
  • Comp: We will pay competitive market rates in terms of equity, cash, & benefits.

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion: First & foremost, we’re looking for someone excited about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun :)
  • Relationship-Oriented: You can understand where partners are falling short of their potential and know how to help them get there. You’re persuasive and empathetic; you can re-engage schools that have gone silent and win over skeptical educators with stories, data, and genuine care for their community. You’re comfortable running webinars, leading in-person events like retreats or professional development seminars, and customizing outreach based on each school's unique culture and challenges.
  • Analytically Driven: You can establish measurable impact targets and maintain discipline tracking progress toward them. You should be comfortable tracking, reporting, and responding to low activation or renewal risk with targeted action.
  • Proactive: You don't wait to be asked. You spot inefficiencies, propose process improvements, and test new strategies before anyone has to flag the problem.
  • Process & Detail Oriented: You excel at documenting everything, you communicate clearly and consistently, you don’t let details slip even when you need to move quickly, and can handle multiple projects at once.
  • Experience: You're highly tech-literate and comfortable collaborating across internal teams — e.g. Sales, Product, Marketing, and Content — to solve unique partner needs in a fast-paced environment. Having worked in a customer success or customer operations role previously is a plus. Experience working in or alongside Catholic K-12 schools or similar faith-based educational institutions is a strong plus.

Compensation Range
$55,000-$75,000 USD (base salary)
$70,000-$90,000 USD (on target earnings)
The above ranges reflect estimated annual cash compensation. The first range represents base salary only. The second range reflects on-target earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus target variable compensation such as commission or a renewal bonus. Actual earnings may vary depending on performance against specific goals and role expectations.
Each full-time employee in the U.S. also receives equity compensation, alongside a top-tier benefits package (e.g., unlimited PTO, insurance, remote-flexible work, fully paid parental leave, 401(k) match, and stipends for spiritual development, health & wellness, home-office, and learning). All full-time employees are also eligible to be considered for a discretionary bonus at the end of each fiscal year. These ranges are just initial estimates. They may vary depending on market or location and may be adjusted depending on the person we end up hiring for this role, their experience, and market dynamics.
We're a small team and we care deeply about each new hire, so sometimes it can take us a while to get through the hiring process for these roles. Apologies in advance for any delays. We'll do our best to keep you updated throughout the process, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through everything.
We are honored that you'd consider joining the team and look forward to connecting with you.
Best,
