The Opportunity
We’re at the forefront of building AI agents for risk teams here at Inscribe.
We're looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Operations Engineer to join our growing team. As our dedicated IT hire, you’ll play a key role in building, managing, and scaling the IT infrastructure that powers Inscribe, ensuring our team has secure, reliable access to the tools and systems they need to do their best work.
This is a unique opportunity to shape IT operations from the ground up, implement new tooling, and lay the foundation for scalable and secure growth.
Responsibilities
Own onboarding and offboarding: Set up and de-provision laptops, accounts, permissions, and workspace tools
Device management: Roll out and manage our MDM (e.g., Jamf) for MacOS
Access management: Help implement a secure and auditable access control system (SSO, least privilege, etc.)
IT support: Serve as the go-to for resolving day-to-day tech issues and internal help desk needs
Tooling administration: Maintain and improve core SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Zoom, 1Password, etc.)
Security & compliance: Support initiatives for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other frameworks
Documentation & automation: Write clean internal documentation and automate repetitive tasks (e.g., using scripts or off-the-shelf tools)
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with People, Engineering, and Business Operations to scale IT processes as we grow
About You
1-3 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or similar
Comfortable with Mac-first environments and MDM tools
Familiarity with identity and access management (Google Workspace, Okta, 1Password, etc.)
Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar)
Detail-oriented, security-minded, and customer-service driven
Experience supporting compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001) is a plus
Previous experience at a startup is a plus
