Loft is looking for an Inventory & Logistics Lead to join our team and help us develop and implement scalable inventory management and control processes. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for establishing barcode and labeling requirements for inventory items and locations, streamlining data entry, and reducing errors. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues encountered throughout inventory and logistics processes, ensuring inventory accuracy and material traceability.

About this Role:

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including priority shipments and customs clearance when required
  • Work with carriers and logistics agencies to ensure shipments are sent with appropriate priority, clear customs (as necessary) and reach intended destinations on-time
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of inventory transactions (i.e., receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing and shipping parts) across offices globally and onsite
  • Organize inventory and receiving spaces to optimize workflow and build out processes and documentation for workflows
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies. Manage real-time inventory accuracy and maintain organized material traceability
  • Manage vendor-supplied documentation for received items (e.g., CoCs, RMAs, EIDPs)

Must Haves:

  • 6+ years’ experience in inventory, receiving, and/or logistics functions, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience working in electronics assembly, integration and/or test environment
  • Prior experience working within ERP/MRP-Driven systems
  • Prior experience with international customs, import/export, dangerous goods and hazardous materials shipment requirements
  • Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and DOT (Dept. of Transportation) requirements
  • Familiarity of requirements regarding packaging, handling, storage and transportation of electronics and hazardous materials.
  • Strong understanding of material traceability, inventory control, and production staging
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and scale operational processes in fast-moving environments
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and support multiple production schedules
  • Must be able to work on-site in Golden on a regular basis
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to ~50 lbs
  • Must be able to operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment
  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift within 3 months of starting
  • Must be comfortable working in a production, warehouse, and lab environment

Nice to Haves:

  • Prior experience with receiving inspection and/or aerospace workmanship requirements (e.g., IPC-610, IPC-620)
  • Prior experience obtaining and/or maintaining special permit per DOT
  • Prior experience working with EAR/ITAR regulations
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings & BOMs
  • Forklift certification

State law requires us to tell you the base compensation range for this role, which is $100,000- $130,000 per year in Colorado This is determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we evaluate individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
