At Marco Polo, we’re passionate about helping businesses grow, and we’re looking for a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will focus on building and optimizing web flows and systems that attract, convert, and onboard new customers. You’ll be working closely with stakeholders to create user-friendly experiences that drive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize modern responsive web components, pages, and analytics that will be used to power marketing, lead generation and conversion.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals and ensure the web technologies, and web experience aligns with them.
  • Assist with building and optimizing web programs to power search and SEO related channels.
  • Maintain and expand CMS and analytics platforms, optimizing them for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve web-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Support a/b and multivariate testing requirements for web related initiatives.
  • Deeply partner with product and design to facilitate strong design execution.
  • Ensure responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility to provide a consistent and high-quality experience across all devices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centric web projects.
  • Proven experience with Vue.js or React is preferred; experience with Typescript, Nuxt.js, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, or Webflow is a plus.
  • Familiarity with headlessCMS systems such as DatoCMS and Analytics platforms.
  • Strong skills in frontend development and responsive web design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and adjusting to changing priorities.
  • Experience with SEO best practices to help advise technical recommendations for web and blog development.
