Mission

Running an online business today means wearing a thousand hats — most of them not the reason founders started their company. Our mission is to eliminate the administrative and accounting burdens that distract businesses from doing what they love.

We’ve already helped hundreds of merchants avoid the headache of building giant finance teams just to manage tax compliance. Tomorrow, we’re scaling that impact even further: building the automation layer that lets internet businesses stay nimble, compliant, and future-proof.

About the Role

We’re looking for an IT Manager who will own all technology operations across the company. This role is responsible for provisioning and managing laptops, overseeing corporate IT systems, administering identity and access controls, and partnering closely with our operations and engineering teams to maintain a secure, compliant, and efficient environment.

You will manage vendor relationships, monitor our IT and security posture, support audits and certifications, and ensure employees have the tools and systems they need to be productive. This is a foundational role that will directly shape how IT, security, and compliance scale as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Provision, configure, and maintain laptops and hardware for all employees, including onboarding and offboarding workflows.

  • Manage corporate IT systems such as Google Workspace, Okta/SSO, MDM, password managers, VPN, and endpoint security tools.

  • Administer identity and access management (IAM), permissions, and role-based policies across SaaS and internal systems.

  • Oversee IT asset management, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management of devices.

  • Partner with engineering to support cloud-access workflows, secure development environments, and internal tooling needs.

  • Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other certification processes, including audit readiness, evidence gathering, and policy enforcement.

  • Manage relationships with IT/security vendors, MSPs, and SaaS providers.

  • Build and continuously improve internal IT processes, documentation, and incident response procedures.

  • Ensure a secure, compliant environment through regular reviews, monitoring, and enforcement of best practices.

  • Assist employees with day-to-day IT issues in a responsive, solutions-oriented manner.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT administration or IT management experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Okta/SSO, MDM tools (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, Intune), and endpoint security platforms.

  • Experience provisioning, supporting, and troubleshooting macOS (and optionally Windows) environments.

  • Hands-on experience managing IAM, role-based access policies, and secure SaaS administration.

  • Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO, or similar security/compliance frameworks and the workflows required to support them.

  • Strong understanding of networking basics, VPNs, DNS, and secure remote access.

  • Experience supporting cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and collaborating with engineering teams on secure-access workflows.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to design efficient processes and documentation that scale with company growth.

Bonus Points For

  • Prior experience owning full SOC 2 / ISO certification processes.

  • Experience working in a startup of 50–150 people.

  • Familiarity with procurement, vendor management, or IT budgeting.

  • Basic scripting or automation skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent).

  • Experience improving IT helpdesk operations or building internal tooling.

Why Join Us?

  • Be a core builder in an ambitious, globally minded startup.

  • Play a critical role in scaling our security and operational foundations.

  • Work across functions and with leadership early in your career.

  • Make an immediate, visible impact on employee productivity and organizational readiness.

  • Enjoy a flexible, remote-first culture with strong ownership opportunities.
