Job Duties

  • Manage AP accountant
  • Prepare and review detailed journal entries and account analysis
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in month-end close (i.e., prepaid, accruals, fixed assets, lease schedules, etc.)
  • Manage state license filings by working closely with the outside agency
  • Assist in the compilation of information for the Company’s tax provision and annual tax returns
  • Work cross-functionally to provide KPI-driven reporting and insights
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Work cross-functionally to provide reporting and insights to company’s financials
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Support ad hoc financial information requests and other special projects

Requirements

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Accounting or related field required, CPA preferred
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify required; Business Central ERP strongly preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in a fast paced, high growth technology company with a strong background in accounts payable, GL accounting, and account reconciliations
  • Systems implementation experience preferred
  • Experience managing high performing teams
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proactive problem-solving and strong process improvement skills
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a high growth start-up environment
  • Inventory accounting experience is a plus
  • Startup experience strongly preferred
  • Proven business partnering and collaboration skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication, internal customer service and business partnering skills
