Role Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer at Pienso, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our automated build and deployment pipelines, deploying containerized applications, and ensuring our cloud infrastructure scales efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with our development, operations, and security teams to enhance reliability, performance, and security across our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for automated builds and deployments.

Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.

Cloud Operations & Management:

• Manage GCP resources, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud DNS, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking.
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of cloud resources.

Collaboration & Scripting: Work closely with development teams and automate tasks using Python, JavaScript, and Bash.

Qualifications:

Containerization: Strong experience with Docker.

CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines.

Infrastructure as Code: Deep understanding of Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible for configuration management.

Kubernetes Expertise: Proven experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes (GKE and/or K3S).

Cloud Platforms: Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:

• Compute Engine
• Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Cloud DNS
• Cloud Storage
• Cloud Networking

Programming & Automation: Ability to write scripts and automation in Python and/or JavaScript.

Networking & Security: Solid understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or other monitoring tools.
