As a Pre-Sales Consultant at Poka, you’ll utilize your expertise in lean manufacturing to demonstrate how Poka integrates across various departments within a factory. By aligning Poka’s use cases with lean principles like waste elimination and standardized work, you’ll highlight Poka’s crucial role in driving operational excellence, enhancing workforce collaboration, and delivering measurable value to every aspect of the business.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Cultivating an in-depth comprehension of our customers' business operations and technical needs within the manufacturing sector, guiding them towards effective connected worker implementations.
  • Establishing yourself as the "trusted advisor" by forming solid relationships with customer leaders and Poka’s internal teams.
  • Developing and presenting custom demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of connected worker solutions.
  • Designing solution-based frameworks that enhance enterprise-level solution selling, leveraging your manufacturing expertise to address industry-specific challenges and create tailored, impactful strategies.
  • Providing specialized expertise in software/hardware technical architecture to guarantee the deployment of suitable, effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with Poka's Global Pre Sales Director and the Pre Sales Team, sharing manufacturing insights, mentoring on demonstration customization, and advancing PoC development.
  • Leading in customer-facing events, especially those involving strategic discussions, by offering customized demonstrations that showcase the practical benefits of Poka.
  • Integrating strategies with Poka's proactive selling model, enhancing the consultative selling approach with a focus on manufacturing efficiencies and connected worker benefits.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre Sales consulting, preferability within the manufacturing industry.
  • Good understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills, marked by creativity and curiosity, with a proven track record of engaging and influencing technical and non-technical audiences within the manufacturing sector.
  • Skilled in crafting and delivering customized product demonstrations that resonate with the specific needs of the manufacturing industry and connected worker scenarios.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities - capable of making decisions based on market and customer trends in the manufacturing domain, and challenging existing processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Fluency in English.
