We’re looking for a talented and passionate Senior Manager UX Designer, to lead our UX design team and drive the strategic direction of user experience across our digital platforms. As a Senior Manager, you create the vision and direction of UX and UI in partnership with the Head of Product Management. You will work closely with our internal partners and our external customers, create the design direction for Reputation.com, and see your work go live on a regular basis.

We are looking for an all-around designer with both interaction and visual design skills, strong ideation skills, and passion for making difficult tasks into simple and elegant experiences. You also take time to understand the performance side of design, and also the business aspects of the products.

You thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to details, and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

You possess a clear vision of the future of user experience and have the courage to pursue forward-thinking design. You like to share your passion with and inspire designers, product managers, and engineers to follow best practices, push the boundaries of what’s possible, and deliver consistently world-class design solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the UX design team (domestically and globally), providing mentorship and development opportunities.

  • Define and implement the UX Design strategy in partnership with the Head of Product Management and ensure alignment with company’s business goals and Product’s vision.

  • Oversee the UX design process, from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and final implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, development, and marketing, to ensure a seamless integration of UX design into product development lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across products.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design, and integrate these insights into the design process.

  • Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.

  • Deliver a UX vision and design system, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates, that actualize the larger vision over time.

  • Build, manage and evolve the design process, and set new standards in executional and operational excellence

  • Build a vibrant community of trusted users, conduct user-centric research, and test iterative solution designs.

  • Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with leaders inside and outside the product teams to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive and well-informed.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in UX Design with 3 years minimum experience managing a team. Preferred experience in managing domestic and global teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams in the UX field.

  • Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for enterprise web and mobile applications.

  • Strong interaction design skills and a solid understanding of user-centered design principles/standards and design patterns

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, and other relevant software..

  • Strong visual design skills and a solid understanding of responsive web app design.

  • Experience designing mobile/tablet applications.

  • Excellent analytical skills, experience with data visualization.

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences.

  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries and independently to define, prioritize and manage work to meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working closely with agile development teams on implementation.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, curious, creative, team player, humble.
