Software Engineer II
ZEFR
What we do:
Zefr is the global leader in brand suitability targeting and measurement across the world's largest platforms. Zefr’s technology is helping to power the age of responsible marketing by putting advertisers in control of their content adjacencies based on their own unique brand safety and suitability preferences, mapped to the Global Alliance of Responsible Media's (GARM) industry standards. As an official YouTube Measurement Program Partner, Meta for Business Partner, and TikTok for Business Partner, the company leverages patented machine learning and AI technology (Cognition AI) to offer brands and agencies more precise and transparent brand safety and suitability activation and measurement solutions on scaled platforms. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with additional locations across the globe.
What you’ll do:
Focus on designing, developing, implementing, and deploying innovative software solutions for our licensed digital content enhancement, management, sharing, and delivery systems across scaled platforms (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
Develop, enhance, and integrate ZEFR’s proprietary video and image-level verification technologies into existing complex network infrastructure and software to ensure brands can safely and effectively scale their video ad campaigns.
Apply advanced knowledge of computer science, machine learning, and deep learning concepts to develop and deploy ZEFR’s Cognition AI machine learning engine to perform and “learn from” audio, text, and video frame-by-frame analysis of millions of videos, delivering brands with insights and analytics that are specifically mapped to Global Alliance of Responsible Media (GARM) industry standards.
Enhance the capabilities and efficiency of existing software systems, operations dashboards, and continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines by using best-in-class software engineering practices, including performing code refactoring and continuous testing to ensure the successful deployment of code alterations.
Contribute to the design and development of ZEFR’s contextual data management platform (DPM), designing algorithms and applications that extract, process, aggregate and customize large amounts of contextual data in one interface, with the goal of delivering content-level targeting solutions that are both precise and scaled to each brand’s nuanced contextual preferences.
