What you’ll do:

Zefr is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in New York, NY! The IT team unleashes the productivity of all Zefr employees by ensuring that they have all the tools and resources they need to connect to the Zefr network, from the day they're hired and throughout their career with Zefr. You will have experience troubleshooting tech issues in a Mac environment, be able to easily communicate technical issues in easily understandable terms, and can prioritize and multitask on the fly.

  • Support all of the orgs across Zefr, both local and remote

  • Meet new hires and assist with their IT onboarding

  • Respond to incoming tickets and walk up requests

  • Research and implement new projects to be used across the entire company

  • Revise and revisit processes to adapt to the needs of the business

  • Support A/V needs, from setting up video conferencing calls to setting up company-wide presentations

  • Get hands on experience with industry leading IT tools

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, either corporate or retail environments (knowledge of Apple computers is a requirement).

  • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical team members.

  • A keen eye for detail, eager to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Provide friendly and timely technical support for employees, resolving basic IT issues via phone, email, or in person.

  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for end-users, including computers, printers, and Wi-Fi.

  • Respond quickly and professionally to requests, ensuring a positive user experience.

  • Assist with onboarding by setting up workstations, email accounts, and necessary IT resources.

  • Help with facilities-related requests such as setting up meeting rooms or handling equipment deliveries.

  • Provide general office administration support, including organizing supplies or assisting with office moves.

  • Document issues and resolutions clearly for future reference.

  • Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Follow IT policies and best practices while ensuring quality service.

  • Experience with Okta, GSuite, and Jamf is preferred but not required.

Compensation (for US based employees):

The anticipated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If your compensation expectations fall outside of this range, it may still be worth having a conversation.
