What you’ll do:
A Regional Key Account Director is a commercially oriented hybrid role spanning the reactive needs of key customers to ensure seamless activation, and the proactive needs of Zefr to grow and deepen relationships at all touch points of accounts. You will be responsible, and accountable, for the development, direction and delivery of Zefr’s key client growth strategies. This is a hands-on contributor role, requiring knowledge of the walled garden ecosystem, client strategies and ideally first-hand experience working with one or more of the walled garden management platforms and dealing with brand custodians directly.
The primary function of Key Account Management is customer delight: you will handle all aspects of the day-to-day relationship with Zefr’s existing key client-base from brief response to deep functional understanding of the account and people attached to it. You will be instrumental in developing the account to identify growth opportunities by product, market or platform. Outstanding client management skills are fundamental, as are established contacts in the agency/brand world. The secondary function of the role is leveraging goodwill and exceptional reputation created within agency groups to source net-new client opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Account Direction
Developing and overseeing all agency strategies across the APAC business markets
Strategic overview, and timely pro-active reporting against status, to Head of APAC of all accounts, the industry, the territory and Senior client personnel
Expanding Zefr’s existing sales opportunities
In-depth understanding and real time financial status of all accounts
Client Management
Lead the contribution and consultation of client’s walled garden strategies and thinking
Strengthen client relationships through inspirational, visionary and proactive account management
Manage quarterly/monthly reviews with agencies/brands to ensure client satisfaction and deliver product updates and recommendations
Monitor external environment and highlight key issues to provide client with strategic insight
Be seen as an expert and consultant to the client
Point of escalation for all client issues
Accountable for quarterly overview for the client
Accountable for quarterly feedback from the client
Outputs and Measures:
Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets
Accuracy of forecasting
Client % retention rates yr-yr
Quantum of net-new opportunity created through reputational goodwill
% clients active from each key accounts
Weekly activity and progress reporting
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in either a client-facing media agency role, or a digital services vendor in a Senior Sales or Senior Account Management role
Proven ability to manage complex and matrixed internal and client stakeholder relationships
Strong working knowledge of walled garden ecosystem advertising products and technologies
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent analytical skills
Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, along with confident and persuasive presentations skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work
