The Opportunity – Senior Product Manager II (Remote - USA / CANADA)

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager II, Fraud to lead our Fraud space at Wrapbook - in this role, you will ideate, design, and build tech, tools, and processes that enable us to better protect our business and customers from financial risk and fraud as Wrapbook scales and grows. This leader will work cross-functionally to define and drive our overall product strategy and roadmap for the fraud landscape - from fraud prevention to fraud response. If you’re someone who gets excited about taking on the mindset of a bad actor to design the best products and programs to catch them, this is the role for you.
This person must have hands-on experience defining and leading software product strategy and roadmaps. Must have proven success in breaking down and solving complex problems while operating independently in high ambiguity. Must be excited to build with crossfunctional stakeholders the surrounding programs to support the success of their product features.
What you'll do:
Define from the ground up and lead the overarching strategy to prevent and address fraud holistically at Wrapbook; make investment recommendations that support and further your product strategy.
Take a data-based approach to prioritize and drive your product roadmap; work with your cross-functional engineering and design partners as well as client-facing operations teams to deliver on your product roadmap.
Define, measure, and be accountable for the success of your products and supporting programs.
Execute on your product roadmap with hands-on approach to the product lifecycle — from discovery/design and research to tech design/implementation planning through testing/beta, go-to-market and post-launch performance analysis
Build and iterate on internal and external product features and capabilities that help Wrapbook be successful throughout the fraud lifecycle.
Drive efforts to develop and implement internal risk management controls through tech including designing and implementing policies end-to-end from discovery to compliance.
Experiment and explore innovative approaches to deliver “smart” fraud risk management, fast on behalf of customers and Wrapbook
Use your subject matter expertise and a collaborative approach to influence other teams’ feature/general engineering work that reduces Wrapbook’s exposure to cross-category risk at scale, with an initial focus on financial fraud and risk
Ideate and define on how we identify and reduce opportunities for fraud within the Wrapbook system throughout the entire customer lifecycle
Refine our due diligence processes and capabilities to strike the right balance between business needs and appropriate friction both in new customer acquisition and customer status/health.
Advise on other product teams’ strategy and new feature planning to incorporate fraud and risk mitigations across the board
Collaborate with the rest of Wrapbook’s Trust (Product Compliance, Privacy, Security) teams to share knowledge and accelerate shared efforts
What you'll have:
5+ years of product management experience
Strong critical thinker, creative problem solver, fast learner, and customer advocate
Have the highest integrity when working with sensitive data
Strong written and verbal communication skills - experience developing processes and documentation from scratch and driving alignment and adoption across cross-functional departments and teams
Experience leveraging analytics tools to access data insights and draw conclusions on qualitative and quantitative datasets
Experience working backwards from various layers of customer needs to lead the definition and delivery of products
Experience independently defining, prioritizing, and managing a product roadmap in a dynamic and ambiguous environment; experience working with client-facing operations teams, engineering and design to deliver on your roadmap
Experience identifying and delivering opportunities to build tech to scale manual efforts
Meticulous - able to research and identify risk patterns and develop plans and recommendations on how to proactively address risk via tech
Experience in financial services, payroll or other technically complex industry
Comfortable with ambiguity; have participated in high-judgment decisions/trade-offs that have significant impact on large organizations

You have any advanced financial industry certifications, CPA, CFA, CFE Certified Fraud Examiner, etc.
You have experience/strong interest in working in a start-up environment and/or in a technology consulting firm on fraud/risk projects
You love wearing a lot of hats, rolling up your sleeves to be hands-on with solving fraud issues.
Have a technical background/data analytics background
