The Opportunity – Senior Product Manager II - Money (Remote - USA / Canada)

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with deep expertise in fintech and payment rails to join our dynamic money movements team. You will drive the development and execution of innovative financial products and services, focusing on building scalable, efficient, and secure payment solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining product strategy, and ensuring seamless delivery of production spend solutions that meet customer needs and industry regulations.
What you'll do:
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute the product strategy for our payment teams, aligning with the company’s business goals and market trends.
Payment Infrastructure: Oversee the design and development of scalable money movement infrastructure, ensuring integration with various payment rails.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, legal, and compliance teams to build and launch innovative payment solutions.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of fintech trends and competitors to identify opportunities for product differentiation.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure product alignment and effective go-to-market strategies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all payment products comply with relevant financial regulations (e.g. AML/KYC requirements).
Customer Experience: Prioritize user experience in product design to deliver seamless and secure payment solutions to customers.
Data-driven Decisions: Use data analytics to track product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement product enhancements.
Partnerships & Integrations: Manage relationships with payment processors, financial institutions, and third-party vendors to optimize payment flows and enhance capabilities.
Risk Management: Collaborate with the risk and fraud teams to develop strategies for minimizing payment fraud and ensuring transaction security.
Record-keeping systems: Build solutions to track the companies financial transactions including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity.
What you'll have:
5+ years of technical product management experience.
Extensive experience with various payment rails (e.g., ACH, card networks, etc.) and their functions within fintech ecosystems. Ability to identify pitfalls and eagerness to improve existing systems.
Strong knowledge of fintech products, digital wallets, payment gateways, and emerging technologies in the financial sector.
Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional (product, design, engineering, ops, etc.) teams to define and implement requirements.
Comfortable with high ambiguity and conducting investigations to help remove ambiguity for the organization.
Ability to dive deep and become the subject matter expert for payments at Wrapbook.
Strong critical thinker, creative problem solver, fast learner, and customer advocate.
Experience working with legal to interpret, communicate, and clarify regulatory requirements to cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience in financial services, payroll, or other technically complex industry.
